scalp problems

Other than dry hair, oily scalp is one of the most common hair problems faced by many people. Oily scalp can be very frustrating since it eventually leads to the formation of oily hair. Oily hair is very difficult to handle since they cause hair clumps, you cannot experiment various hairstyles and moreover oily hair easily attract dirt on them. Though frequent shampooing is one of the remedy to get rid of oily scalp, you may end up having dry hair with this method. But using appropriate treatment for oily scalp can help to solve this hair problem.

Our scalp consists of sebaceous glands that produce oil or sebum, which is further absorbed by the hair. This sebum is a wax like substance that helps to keep our hair, soft, waterproof and slender. Oily scalp is basically the result of over production of sebum by these glands. The excess oil produced by these glands cannot be completely absorbed by the hair and hence, this oil gets accumulated over the scalp leading to formation of oily scalp. Excessive oily scalp makes the hair look greasy and untidy.

Hormonal imbalance is one of the most common causes of having oily scalp. Acne is commonly observed in people with oily scalp. Sometimes allergy to certain food items is also a cause of developing oily scalp. Some people do not take proper "hair care" which causes the sebum to accumulate on the scalp. Stress which causes hormonal imbalance is one more reason that leads to extremely oily scalp. Thus, anything that disturbs the hormone level can result in oily scalp. Now let us learn some easy methods to get rid of oily scalp.For male when they getting older they loss more hair,and for female they have MORE hair.Dealing with oily scalp can be quite challenging. Shampoo Regularly: Frequent shampooing is one of the most useful remedy for excessively oily scalp. But it is necessary that you use a shampoo that is specially recommended for oily scalp. Use shampoos that do not contain strong chemicals in them.T
hrough my years of hairdressing , shampoos that contain less chemicals and are transparent, effectively treat oily scalp as compared to those which contain heavy detergents.
